Sleep begets sleep is REAL

Last night after a long day of implementing the HSHHC fundamentals with way more resistance than the day before, little Charlotte completely crashed in her own room for teh first time, only to wake for her usual middle of the night feeding and go right back down again until a slightly early 5:15 ( she as been getting up at 6 ish. My husband went in gave her a bottle put her right back down witout any major exchange and she went back down and was laying there smiling when we walked in at 7 am!!!  Then, after about an hour and a half of happy family morning time, she was getting hungry so I fed her in her room rocked her for two minutes, set her down and she is still sleeping without a fuss1 hour and 10 minutes later.  Ths was not my baby last week..my no naps except in the swing, crazy meltdon by four pm, sleeping next to us soundly baby.  We are soooo proud of her.  It was hard to move her out - we had considered co-sleeping until she was 2- seriously- it just started dawning on me that we might all sleep best this way and have more happy awake cuddlingtime because of it.  So that was last night,. Today we go for the vaccines we skipped since she had a cold last week...will report if and how this affects teh new program of three naps and happy night sleep in her room.  How is everyone else doing?
